City Cottage has been involved in the Area 9 residential construction projects for over 11 years and we have fielded
many request for services as a result of the quality of our renovated homes. We feel that there is an opportunity at this
time in light of the current economic environment. Homeowners in good locations will renovate and expand rather than face
uncertainty of a new purchase and the sale of their old home.
Whether it's your house or ours, an individual
strategy has to be developed, a plan shaped from the strategy, and a plan executed. The plan has to be thorough, realistic,
in compliance with deed restrictions and city code. There will be utility interruptions, project changes, decisions, inspections
and part of your plan may be.
Whole home renovation is our specialty, and that starts with dirty work - plumbing
and foundations. The replacement of sewer lines, under-slab plumbing, gas lines, water lines, and foundation repairs are the keys
to a successful project. It's not pretty and it's expensive, but the trouble free longevity of the home depends on
it. Other important updates are electrical service, heating & cooling, and roof. Renovation is not easy and requires intensive
supervision and rapid response, therefore we restrict our projects to Timbergrove, Lazybrook, Oak Forest, Holly Park,
the Heights and Norhill.
